Struck 615-638 AD. ddNN hERACLIUS ET hERA CONST, Heraclius and son facing, crowned and draped, each holding globus cruciger / dEUS AdIUTA ROMANIS, cross potent on globe on three steps; I in left field. DOC II 64.11; MIB III 140.1; SB 796. Toned, good VF, sharp strike. An exceptionally attractive example of this notoriously poorly struck coinage. ($400)
