Head of Athena right, wearing crested Corinthian helmet; c/m: bow in bowcase with TOP to left / Nike advancing left, holding wreath; pomegranate above DEI (magistrate) in left field. For coin: SNG France 674; SNG von Aulock 4786. For c/m: Bauslaugh, "Cistophoric Countermarks and the Monetary System of Eumenes II," NumChron 1990, pg. 45 var. (this countermark not recorded on a DEI tetradrachm). Fine, bold countermark. ($200)
