Germanicus in ornamented slow quadriga right / Germanicus advancing left, raising hand and holding legionary eagle. RIC I 57 (Gaius); BMCRE 94 (Caligula); Cohen 7. Good VF, green surfaces, minor roughness on reverse. ($1000)

Commemorates, in part, Germanicus' recovery of the legionary standards lost in the Teutoburg Forest under Varus in 9 AD.
