PHOENICIA, Sidon. Abdashtart III. 340/39-332 BC. AR Dishekel (29mm, 25.92 gm). Dated year 2 (?). War galley sailing left; star over stern; [II] above / King of Persia in chariot left; driver leaning forward; king of Sidon follows behind., holding urn and sceptre; double Phoenician "Ayin" in upper left field. Cf. Betlyon 43 (half shekel); BMC Phoenicia pg. 151, 65. VF, good metal. Struck with typically worn dies.
