KINGS of PARTHIA. Orodes II. 58/7 - 38 BC. AR Tetradrachm (31mm, 14.35 gm). Seleukeia on the Tigris mint. Diademed bust left, wart on forehead, eagle on breast, neck torque ends in sea-horse / Orodes seated left on throne, holding Nike and sceptre;
G below Nike, pellet below throne. Sellwood 48.2 var. (no pellet); Shore 213; BMC Parthia -. Choice VF, light roughness, gaffiti in obverse field. Well struck and well centered on a large flan.
