Head of Herakles right, wearing lion's skin headdress / Zeus seated left, holding eagle and sceptre; dolphin and monogram before, monogram below throne. SC 358(4).c; WSM 1208c; Houghton, "The Early Seleucid Mint of Laodicea ad Mare (c. 300-246 BC)," in Travaux Le Rider, Group XIII. Lightly toned, near EF, minor roughness, small spot of horn silver on the reverse. Rare issue.
