SICILY, Adranon. Circa 354-344 BC. Æ Drachm (27.23 gm). Laureate head of Apollo left / Lyre with seven strings. Calciati III pg. 331, 2 st 1 (same dies); Castrizio 8 (D4/R5); SNG ANS 1151; cf. SNG Morcom 502. Fine, dark brown patina. Rare. Probably overstruck on a Syracusan drachm, but the undertype is not visible. ($400)
