SICILY, Panormos. Punic Occupation. Circa 425-300 BC. AR Tetradrachm (16.59 gm). Struck circa 325-300 BC. Charioteer driving quadriga left, holding kentron and reins; above, star (over outermost horse) and Nike flying right, crowning charioteer; Punic "SYS" in exergue / Wreathed head of Arethusa left, wearing triple-pendant earring and necklace; four dolphins around. Jenkins I 74 (O19/R61); SNG ANS 542 (same obverse die). Good VF, toned. ($1000)
