SICILY, Segesta. Circa 480-461 BC. AR Didrachm (8.34 gm). Hound standing right; barley grain above / Head of the nymph Segesta right, single band in hair. Cf. SNG ANS 637; cf. SNG Lloyd 1179 (same obverse die). VF, toned, some light pitting. Extremely rare; fourth known, one in Palermo and the Hermitage, the third in trade. ($300)
