Radiate head of Helios facing slightly right / Rose with bud; prow to left, AMEI-NIAS flanking stem. SNG Helsinki 542; SNG Copenhagen 752. Good VF, some smoothing in fields and cheeks, some minor tooling. ($1500)

Ashton, in "Rhodian Bronze Coinage and the Earthquake of 229-226 BC," NumChron 1986, pp. 1-18, links the extensive production of silver coinage under Ameinias to the contributions made to Rhodes by its trading partners to further relief efforts after the horrific earthquake that leveled the city and brought down its famous Colossos.
