CORINTHIA, Corinth. Circa 345-307 BC. AR Stater (8.58 gm). Pegasos flying left / Head of Athena left, wearing laureate Corinthian helmet; A-P before neck, aegis behind. Pegasi I pg. 262, 427 GR (same dies); BCD -; Ravel 1009 var. (A-P flanking neck); SNG Copenhagen 71 var. (same). Good VF, lightly toned. Rare variety. ($250)

Calciati (Pegasi) appears to distinguish 427 GR from the standard type 427 due to graffiti on the former, but it also has the A-P before the neck, rather than above and below it as is usual (see previous lot).
