CRETE, Knossos. Circa 330-300 BC. AR Stater (11.10 gm). Wreathed head of Demeter right / Labyrinth in the form of a swastika; four pellets in the center. Svoronos, Crète 46 var. (same obverse die, five pellets in center); BMC Crete pg. 18, 4; cf. SNG Copenhagen 370. Good VF, toned, some minor porosity, die rust on obverse. ($2000)
