CARTHAGE. Circa 300-264 BC. AR Shekel (5.14 gm). Wreathed head of Tanit left, wearing single pendant earring / Horse standing right, head reverted; Punic letter "ha" below. MAA 37; SNG Copenhagen 143; Müller 114. Good VF, exceptional style for 3rd century Carthage. Rare early issue without palm (not to be confused with the type of the following lot). ($1500)
