ROMAN ERA. Roman. Silver Votive Amulet. Circa 2nd-3rd century AD. Height 37mm. Open-work base silver amulet, with a votive group showing Isis with crown and cornucopiae, Harpocrates with crown and finger to mouth, serpent entwined around tree beside Harpocrates and tiny animal between the two figures. Amulet (or statuette) is free-standing, but also has two loops on the back for attachment to larger object or clothing. Good condition, slight wear to the figures, a little encrusted. ($200)
