IONIA, Uncertain Mint. Circa 600-550 BC. EL 1/24 Stater (6mm, 0.58 gm). Facing panther's head / Incuse punch. SNG Kayhan 713. Near VF.
The head is very similar to panther heads on later hektes from Phokaia (cf. SNG Kayhan 532; Bodenstedt 53) and may be an early issue of that city.
