KINGS of ELYMAIS. Kamnaskires II. Circa 145-139 BC. AR Drachm (18mm, 4.03 gm). Susa mint. Diademed head right; EA monogram behind / Apollo seated left on omphalos, holding arrow and bow. Alram 432; cf. Le Rider,
Suse pl. LXXII, 9; BMC Arabia -; De Morgan -. Toned, good VF, light obverse double strike, minor reverse porosity. Extremely rare; one of three examples known and the only one not in a museum collection (the other two are in Berlin).
None of the references describe the monogram in the reverse exergue, and all examples have them partially off-flan, thus obscuring an exact attribution.
