Wreathed and veiled head of Demeter right, wearing triple-pendant earring and necklace; A behind, P before / META downward on right, ear of barley with seven grains, leaves to left and right; tripod above left leaf, PRO above right leaf. Johnston Class A, 7.6 (same dies); SNG ANS 416 (same dies); SNG Copenhagen -; HN Italy 1565; SNG Lloyd 388 (same dies). Superb EF, well struck with sharp details. ($2000)
