BRUTTIUM, Kroton. Circa 510-500 BC. AR Nomos (7.27 gm, 12h). KPO (retrograde) on left, tripod, legs terminating in lion's feet; two serpents at feet, crab to right / KPO (retrograde) in relief on right, incuse tripod as on obverse; crab outlined on left. Cf. Attianese 31; SNG ANS 247 (same dies); SNG Copenhagen 1743; HN Italy 2078. Good VF, lightly toned. ($1500)
