Charioteer driving slow biga of mules left, holding kentron in right hand, reins with both; in exergue, two dolphins vis-a-vis / MESSANION, hare springing left; above, bird flying left; grain ear below. Caltabiano 614 (D220/R241); SNG ANS 378 (same obverse die); SNG Copenhagen 404 (same dies); BMC Sicily pg. 104, 46 (same dies); SNG Lloyd 1103 (same dies); Weber 1428 (same dies). Good VF, some obverse die wear. Nicely centered and well struck. ($3000)
