Laureate head of Janus; curved truncation / Jupiter in galloping quadriga driven right by Victory, holding thunderbolt and sceptre; ROMA incuse on raised tablet in exergue. Crawford 28/3; Sydenham 64a; Kestner 90; BMCRR Romano-Campanian 78; RSC 23. Good VF, pleasing old cabinet toning. A well-centered, exceptional obverse strike on a broad flan. ($750)
