SER GALBA IMP CAESAR AVG TR P, laureate head left / SALVS AVGVSTA, S C in exergue, Salus seated left on ornate stool, holding patera in extended right hand and long sceptre in left hand. RIC I 396 var. (AVG P M TR P); ACG - (A84/P88; unlisted die combination); BMCRE pg. 328, † note; BN 200 var. (laureate head right); Cohen 227 var. (same). Good VF, mottled red and green patina with brown undertones, some smoothing in fields. ($3000)
