ARAB-BYZANTINE. Circa 680-695 AD. Æ Fals (19mm, 3.42 gm). Damascus mint. Two imperial figures standing, one holding a cross-sceptre, the other a palm branch / Large M, Christogram above, crescent below; corrupted Arabic legends at sides, mint in exergue. Cf. SICA 575; cf. Walker 42. All the published specimens of this two emperor type show both figures holding cross-sceptres. Good VF, green patina. Exceptional condition for this type.
