THRACE, Odessus. Gordian III. 238-244 AD. Æ Medallion (35mm, 26.46 gm). Radiate, draped and cuirassed half-length bust left, raising hand and holding globe / ODHC-C-EITWN, Gordian standing left, sacrificing from patera held over altar, holding reverse spear. Varbanov 3507 (same dies); Mouchmov 1643; SNG Copenhagen 679 (same dies). Good VF, green patina, minor areas of corrosion.
