MYSIA, Germe. Elagabalus. 218-222 AD. Æ Medallion (39mm, 37.72 gm). Laureate and cuirassed bust right / [EPI CTPAT IOVL FONTHIO]V AL[EXA]ND/[R]OV around, [G]ERMHN[WN] in exergue, Herakles standing right, holding club and lion by the hind leg. Ehling 175 (V1/R1), 1 = LIMC 5/2, 1987 (this coin); SNG France 992 = Waddington 7037 = Voegtli 2f (same dies). Near Fine, brown patina, edge bump. Very rare, one of two known specimens and the only one available to the collector.
