SELEUKID KINGS of SYRIA. Seleukos I Nikator. 312-281 BC. AR Tetradrachm (16.02 gm, 2h). Susa mint. Struck circa 305/4-295 BC. Head of hero (Alexander or Seleukos?) right, wearing helmet covered with panther skin and adorned with the ear and horns of a bull / Nike standing right, erecting trophy; monogram to lower left and in central field. SC 173.4; ESMS Tr.7-33 (unlisted dies). VF, slightly soft strike on obverse. Well centered. ($2000)
