ARABIA, Southeast (Macai). Abi'el. Late 2nd century BC. AR Drachm (3.92 gm, 4h). Mleiha mint. Imitating Alexander III of Macedon. Head of Herakles right, wearing lion's skin / Figure seated left, holding forepart of horse and staff; date-palm in left field, Aramaic legend to right, anchor monogram to outer right. Cf. Potts, Supplement, Class S4, 281 (tetradrachm, different legend). VF, toned, obverse a little off-center. Very rare. ($500)
