GEORGIVS III D G M BRI FRA ET HIB REX F D, laureate and armored bust right; L N on truncation / PATRIAE OVANTI, CORONAT XXII SEPT CICICCCLXI, George enthroned left in Roman garb, being crowned by Britannia, lion with orb behind; L N in exergue. These medals usually come with edge bumps; according to contemporary sources they were thrown to the crowd during the Coronation service.
