PREHISTORIC ERA. Neolithic Greek stone axe. Before 3000 BC. Length 200mm. Light brown fine-grained chert, incisor-shaped, longitudinally flaked on one side, the chopping edge re-touched. Partially covered with hard caliche, water-borne calcium deposits associated with cave burial. Excellent condition, fine Stone Age tool. ($300)
