[Antiquities] GREEK. Pair of Skythian(?) Silver Plaques. Circa 2nd-1st century BC. Two silver plaques, original size 95mm x 65mm, featuring paired eagle's heads above twin serpentine figures (the lower part of one plaque broken off). Chased and incised details. Soldered loops on back, probably for use as horse trappings. Original find patina, with patches of horn silver and moderate porosity. Two (2) pieces in lot. ($300)
