[Antiquities] ROMAN. Bronze chariot axle hub. Circa 2nd-3rd century AD. Diameter 100mm, height 85mm. Lathe-turned hollow cast bronze cap for a wheel axle. Good quality bronze with high tin content. Glossy patina with some patchy encrustation and pitting. Nice. ($200)
