TITUS. As Caesar, 69-79 AD. AR Denarius (17mm, 2.93 g). Judaea Capta issue. Antioch mint. Struck 72 AD. Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust right, seen from behind / Judaea seated right on cuirass beneath palm tree in attitude of mourning; behind, emperor in military outfit standing right, foot on helmet, holding spear and parazonium. RIC II 367 (Vespasian); RPC II 1934; Hendin -; BMCRE 518; RSC 392 (all incorrectly omit cuirass). Good VF, lightly toned, struck with slightly worn obverse die. Rare.
