TRAJAN. 98-117 AD. Æ Sestertius (35mm, 25.12 g). Struck circa 107-111 AD. Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust right, seen from behind / Octastyle temple with portico on either side, seated figure within; Jupiter on pediment seated facing, seated figures on either side; Victories at corners, standing figure at point; altar before. RIC II -; BMCRE 863 note var. (bust type); Banti -; Cohen -. Fine, black surfaces with some porosity. Very rare with the altar on the reverse and apparently unrecorded with this bust type.
