MACEDON, Chalkidian League. 432-348 BC. AR Tetradrachm (13.80 g, 9h). Olynthos mint. Struck circa 401-398 BC. Laureate head of Apollo right / Kithara; small T E flanking A in ethnic, small T to lower right of kithara. Robinson & Clement Group I, 38 corr. (A29/ P35) = McClean 3158 corr.; AMNG III -; cf. SNG ANS 746. Good VF, lightly toned, granular surfaces. Extremely rare, one of only two coins from these dies. ($1500)
