Crowned bust three-quarters left, holding sceptre with lis terminal / +A[ELW(?)]I: ON: EXCES:, quadrilateral on cross fleury. Cf. Andrew p. 196; SCBI -; cf. BMC 219; North 871; SCBC 1276. Good VF, flan wrinkled at edge. This moneyer's name apparently is not fully legible on any of the known coins of Exeter. ($1500)
