Laureate head of Pietas right; ^II behind / Trophy of Gallic arms; axe surmounted by an animal's head on right. Crawford 452/2; CRI 11; Sydenham 1009; RSC 18. Nice VF, attractively toned, reverse a little off-center.
^II represents the numeral "52", Caesar's age at the time of the decisive battle of Pharsalus in August 48 BC.
