Head of Demeter or Kore (Persephone) three-quarter face right, wearing corn-wreath / Poseidon, naked, standing right, resting on trident and holding dolphin; to left, BOIWTWN upward; to right, DX above Boiotian shield. Head, Boeotia p. 86; BMC p. 40, 79; SNG Cop. 383; McClean 5617, pl. 202, 16; Dewing 1516-1517. Good VF, lightly toned with gold iridescent highlights, a die break just beginning on the right cheek of Persephone. Well centered. ($300)
