BOIOTIA, Thespiai. Circa 210 BC. Æ 16mm (3.74 g, 1h). Female (Arsinoe III) head right, wearing modius and veil / Lyre; N above, QESPI-EWN downward on left and right, respectively; all within laurel wreath tying at bottom. SNG Christomanos 771 corr. (N not noted). Good VF, dark green patina. Very rare. ($300)

This coin is of superb style and the dies are engraved very carefully. Probably the "prototype" of the series where the artist had an actual model of Arsinoe III as the Tenth Muse at hand.
