BOIOTIA, Tanagra. 500-480 BC. AR Hemidrachm (2.83 g). Boiotian shield, horizontal T facing inward in each opening / Square incuse quartered perpendicularly and diagonally, the diagonal lines not quite at 45 degrees with the vertical; four of the resulting recessed triangles have filled in. SNG Cop. 216 (same rev. die). VF, even grey tone, minor surface corrosion. Very rare. ($500)
