Diademed head of the deified Alexander right, with horn of Ammon / BASILEWS LUSIMACOU, Athena Nikephoros seated left, left arm resting on shield, spear behind; monograms to inner left and in exergue. Thompson -; Müller -; Pozzi 1166 (same dies). EF. Struck from dies of fine style. ($5000)

The excellent style of this piece suggests an issue in the third century BC, and possibly a lifetime issue unknown to Thompson.
