Wreathed head of Persephone left, wearing ornate triple pendant earring and necklace / OPONTIWN, Ajax advancing right, nude but for crested Corinthian helmet, holding sword in right hand, shield decorated with lion in left; spear below. SNG Copenhagen -; BMC 26; McClean 5441-2. Good VF, lightly toned, light scratch in obverse field. Rare issue. ($4000)
