Diademed bust right, wearing aegis / BASILEWS PTOLEMAIOU, eagle standing left on thunderbolt; to left, P above monogram. Svoronos 252; SNG Copenhagen 69; BMC 57. EF, attractive dark iridescent toning, a few light cleaning scratches, hairline flan crack, small die break in field on reverse. Wonderful Hellenistic portrait. ($1000)
