IMP CAES NERVA TRAIAN AVG GERM P M, laureate bust right, wearing aegis / TR POT COS II P P, S C in exergue, Pax seated left, holding branch in extended right hand, cradling sceptre in left arm. RIC II 390 var. (no aegis); Banti 321; BMCRE 718 var. (same); Cohen -. EF, green and brown patina, light smoothing in fields, slight die shift. Attractive early style bust. Very rare with aegis (Banti records only one example). ($1000)
