Crowned figures of Justinian and Tiberius standing facing, each holding long staff or cross / Large M; monogram above, two stars flanking; D(?)/SCL. DOC II -; Spahr -; BBS 64; MIB III 52; SB 1438. Good VF, olive green patina, overstruck. Sharp portraits. Rare. ($400)

The second staff held by Justinian is not mentioned in the references, being off the flan on the other known examples. In addition, there appears to be an officina letter below the M, although this may be part of the undertype.
