RUSSIA. Alexei Mikhailovich. 1645-1676. AR Yefimok (Jefimok) (27.78 g, 8h). Dated 1655. A taler of Johann Georg I, Peter Ernst I and Johann Hoyer III of Mansfeld-Eisleben, dated 1578, countermarked on obverse with three punches: horseman right with monogram below in dotted circle (Type II) and twice with date in plain rectangle (Type III). Coin: Davenport 9495; Countermarks: Efimki -; Kaim I p. 126-129; KM -. Coin VF, c/ms VF, toned. Unusual with the double date stamps, both of which are weak. ($1500)
