A taler of Sigismund III of Poland, dated 1627, countermarked on obverse with two punches: horseman right with monogram below in dotted circle (Type II) and date in plain rectangle (Type IV). Coin: Davenport 4315; KM 44; Countermarks: Efimki 1654 (this coin); Kaim I p. 126-129; KM -. Coin VF, c/ms good VF, toned, flan crack. The Type II, larger horseman punch is overstruck on a Type I punch.($1000)
