[+STI]EFNE:, crowned bust right, holding sceptre; bar across face, roundel on elbow (defaced) / +GODPIN: O[N: CICE(S?):], cross moline with lis in quarters. Mack 10; King 194 = BMC 26 var. (legend); SCBI 48 (Northern), 1192 (same obv. die [before defacement]); North 873; SCBC 1278. VF, light toning, usual flat spots. Extremely rare defacement from the Civil War. ($750)

The obverse die appears to have been defaced prior to striking this coin (and the other in the Beauvais Hoard). A casualty of the civil war.
