Commodus. 177-192 AD. Æ "Medallion" (38mm, 53.18 g). Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust right, seen from behind / Fortuna seated left, holding rudder and cornucopiae; Commodus standing right before, sacrificing from patera over lighted altar. Gnecchi 20, pl. 79, 4 ("same dies"); Grueber p. 24, 18 ("this coin"). Good VF, dark brown patina, edge stamped RR (Robert Ready). This is an electrotype of a medallion in the British Museum.
