Commodus. 177-192 AD. Æ "Medallion" (40mm, 35.95 g). Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust right, seen from behind / Commodus, holding eagle-tipped sceptre, driving walking quadriga left. Gnecchi 104, pl. 85, 2 ("same dies"); Grueber p. 27, 31 ("this coin"). Good VF, brown patina, edge not marked. This is an electrotype of a medallion in the British Museum.
