Christ enthroned facing, raising hand in benediction, and holding the book of the Gospels / Crowned full-length facing, standing figures of Alexius and St. Constantine, each holding cruciform sceptre; both holding a labarum between them. DOC IV 2; M.D. O’Hara, “A Hoard of Electrum Trachea of Alexius III,” NC 1977, pp. 186-188, no. 12; SB 2009A. Fine, toned, edges a little wavy, and a couple of small voids in the metal. Very rare.
