LUCANIA, Poseidonia. Circa 470-445 BC. AR Nomos (8.11 g, 12h). Poseidon advancing right, wielding trident overhead; [S]EILU to left / Bull standing right in circular incuse. SNG ANS -; HN Italy 1114 note; SNG Copenhagen Supp. 50 var. (bull left). Good VF, die break on obverse. Very rare issue with SEILU.

The name on the obverse is thought to refer to the river Silaros.
